We decided to go with payless car rental in SJU Puerto Rico Because they offered the best rates . The first day arriving we were meet 30 minutes late by the pick up van at the airport . Also arriving at the car rental place the people at the counter were rude . The counter person also explain that my price for the car would change due to P.R rental prices and taxes . We finally ended up with almost $100 more off our priceline quote There cars are pretty beat up so , take notes and pictures of the rental car before leaving the place . .So be aware of this when renting at payless in Puerto Rico . Just in case have a backup reservation with another car rental place , just in case they try to raise your rate and increase your charge .
