I thought buying a car was supposed to be a happy experience.
Now the bad. Allen advised I come back on Saturday morning for my detailing, gas and air for my tires. As I arrived promptly at 9:30am, the place was packed and king story short had to leave me car there and left with a loaner. They told me I could come pick it up Monday afternoon. When I called Monday at 3pm they were just working on it. I later received a call that I was not able to pick up my car due to a disabled corvette that was in front of mine. When I arrived the following afternoon to pick up my car, yes the detailing and wash were done. However, I did not have a full tank or air in my tires as promised. I had to go back in and get these two things done. My gas tank is on the passengers side of the car. When I got home I realized that the guy had left the gas cap hanging and I had driven the whole way home like that. (I live a little far). It was just one thing after another after another.
I dislike dealerships, I've never enjoyed buying a car. Erik was unlike any car salesperson I've dealt with. He was friendly, helpful, honest and knowledgeable. He thought of things we needed before we realized it and had everything lined up so the pick up and paper signing was done within minutes. Erik worked hard to find the car we wanted and even called back with a better deal getting us into a newer model with more features. I wouldn't hesitate in returning or recommending. Nice job!
I've bought new cars from many other dealerships spanning several brands. I honestly can't recall one instance where I didn't have a good experience, when I actually bought. Sure there were more than a few that sucked, and I of course walked out. If I'm buying, it's because several factors that I look for are being satisfied. Pertaining to Autosport Chevrolet, I didn't exactly come to the dealership to buy, but rather to test drive a specific vehicle, which I explained and they were totally okay with. However, they went above to find me the exact car I wanted, down to color and options, gave me the exact deal I wanted, and ultimately even came in lower on the finance rate than I anticipated. What I have yet to mention is that I test drove and had a deal for a car on the table in less than an hour. And when I picked up, the orientation process for OnStar took longer than the actual paperwork. Jose explained how long the service would take. oil change, tire rotation and a car wash in less than an hour. Every one was pleasant and polite. Very professional. My vehicle came back clean in and out. Always a pleasant atmosphere, in the waiting area. Every one in the dept. very helpful and courteous. Amanda helped me on the phone arrange my service and greeted me upon my arrival. Great service dept.
Sheena was wonderful when she was available to help me, all others that I dealt with had no clue as to what was going on with my truck and couldn't answer any of my questions. Pat the service manager was excellent, treated me like a person and not a number. He explained everything to me. Really the only time I was given information correctly and in detail was when I went to the dealership and was face to face with someone.
, I would recommend the service dept. to any one looking for a rare find ,this is it.
Let's start with the good. I purchased a car (not a Chevrolet but a purchase is still a purchase) and Allen was great. Very helpful and made everything so easy. Because I arrived at the dealership after 7pm, the guys who do the detailing, were gone for the day. Understandable.
